About The Program
NO FIRST TIME HOMEBUYER REQUIREMENT
The SETH MyHome Plus Program provides assistance in the form of a forgivable 2nd lien. The actual amount of Assistance is based on the final loan amount. The Assistance is forgiven at the end of the recapture period. Funds can be used toward your down payment and closing costs. The program also provides financing with a 30 year fixed rate FHA, USDA, VA or Conventional mortgage loan.
This program is available in Texas but is not available within Travis County or the city limits of El Paso, McKinney and Grand Prairie. Buyers must be income eligible (see below) and will be required to complete the SETH on-line Homebuyer Education Course.

Homebuyer Education
Choosing Your Course:
If you are purchasing a home with the SETH MyHome Plus Program, you will be attending our Homebuyer Education Course using the link below. You are able to complete this course individually or jointly with your co-borrower.
Step 1
Use the "Get Started" button and select Homebuyer Education Course. You will need to create an account.
Step 2
You will submit your payment in the Complete Purchase Section. The cost for the Homebuyer Education is $100. The class will be provided free for borrowers meeting Charter Level Income Limits. Ask your loan officer if you will qualify.
A certificate is provided upon completion and is required by the SETH MyHome Plus Program. The certificate is valid for 12 months. Courses are offered in English & Spanish.
